The rule to divide fractions is to multiply the first by the inverse of the second. The signal is obtained by
the rule -/- =+
So: (-1/3)/(-2/5) = +(1/3)(5/2) = + 5/6

easy
-1/3 divided by -2/5 is the problem
well any time you have fractions to divid there is a simple rule
"keep the first flip the second and multiply"
which means keep the first fraction as is then flip the other one and multiply
soo it would look like this
-1/3 * 5/-2
im gona change how it looks to make it simple to see
-1 5
----- * -----
3 -2
so multiply the numerators(top number) together
-1 * 5 = -5
multiply the demonminator (bottom number) together
3 * -2 = -6
so the answer is
-5/-6
but the negitive on the top and bottom cancel each other out so really its
5/6
good luck

instead of dividing fractions, you can turn the one you are diving BY upside down and multiply them together, so:
-1/3 (divided by sign) -2/5 = -1/3 * -5/2
which gives 5/6 :)

Hey there!
Take the recriprocal of the second fraction and multiply with the first.
In other words, the answer would look like this.
-1/3/(-2/5) -->
-1/3*-5/2 -->
5/6
So the answer is 5/6.
Hope it helps!

its simple.
first you see that theres two negative signs. they cancel out so you can think of it as 1/3 divided by 2/5
second, the expression can be thought of as 1/3 TIMES 5/2
this is because the second part(2/5) can be inverted and multiplied.
result--- (1/3) times (5/2) = 5/6

dividing fractions is just multiplying by the reciprocal
so (-1/3)/(-2/5)
is just
(-1/3)*(-5/2)
multiply numerators, then denominators, and you get
5/6
