what does it mean when your heart is stuck in denial?

i was listening to a love song and i was wondering . :) and what does it mean by giving you the benefit of the doubt?

Well, you have two questions here. A heart is not stuck in denial -- that means you don't want to face the truth.

Giving someone the benefit of a doubt means you may not really believe them, but it's possible they could be telling the truth, so you act as if they are.
