Service has nothing to do with your payments.

If you are taking the vehicle to a dealer where you bought it, and are 2 months behind in payments, they may keep it. It's easier than hiring a repossesser. This is assuming you are getting "free" service that came with the sale.

If you are 2 payments behind they can repo your vehicle and there is nothing you can do, beside make the 2 payment plus their towing fees etc right now and there. They won't negotiate and hold the car until you have your money together, sorry.

1/ yes, it seems your vehicle is important to you otherwise you wouldn't be seeking service, on that regard recommend that car notes paid current, prior to service needs, we are in a recession and lenders don't like being out in the cold in today's market, but they don't mind if ???? is left in the cold
note; maybe you should service your bicycle
