I am going to highschool and I have a Summer Reading Project that is due the first day of school...
Part of my grade is to come up with something like a book club discussion. Please Help....

What is the author trying to communicate?
What is the underlying theme of the book?
How did the author's background (how he lived, when he lived, where he lived, etc.) influence the novel and the message?
Do you agree with what the author had to say?
And don't forget about symbolism.

Here are a few questions for you to use...

Who is the author?
What is the author trying to say?
Does he/she get the message across effectively?
What is the story about?
How did the story make you feel when your read it?
Who were the main characters of the book?

Describe the settign of an action scene of the book

So was the d'enouement worthy of your time? (look it up) Explain the alternate solutions you can think of.

Do you think you'd be friends with the main character? Main villian?

Try looking in books that have book discussion questions in the back, that may help.
