Well, it's kind of a long story. It all started with this thing they call the big bang. On down the road our solar system formed, along with our earth. The conditions happened to be just right for primordial ooze to organize itself into various micro-organisms which grew in complexity. Before you know it, a bipedal ape was strutting around banging rocks together and now we have fighter jets and tanks, bankers and lawyers, rich fat cat dictators and an oppressed working class majority.

We're here because the universe allowed us to be here, because circumstances allowed us to be here. Make the most of it.

Human beings are here cuz all the little fishy in the sea would get lonely wihtout us, because the sunsets and sunrises wouldn't get a second glance if we didn't exist. We are here in this world to marvel at all its wonders and to LIVE!
Aren't u glad?

I think, just like any other creature, our primary purpose is to eat and procreate...however, people like you with questions like this have lifted humanity slightly above the cockroaches to create and appreciate various art forms and form more important bonds between ourselves. The driving forces, however, are still eating and procreating...think about it.

You can thank that extinction level event 65 million years ago that wiped out our biggest competitors on this planet...the dinos. With them gone, our mammalian ancestors were able to get their big start.
