Georgie I appreciate such humbleness especially from a Tiger fan. Good question.
I do agree kudos to KC. They have beaten alot of good teams including my Indians, so this is nothing new to them.
I really love to see the cocky White Sox fans stop talking it's nice and peacful.

KC has one helluva core of talented young position players: Butler, Gordon, Teahan, Buck, DeJesus, German, Pena; plus some decent vets, like Brown and Grudzo. Now, the boys in blue face two problems-1) sadly, they will not have the funds necessary to keep this fine young bunch of players together for very long, and 2), pitching. The rotations core of Mesche, Bannister, and DeLaRosa is a decent start, but will it be enough to make KC contenders, especially in the AL Central? I'm pulling for the Royals to regain some of that old glory, but baseball economics might just make that impossible. A shame, really. As long as the Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, and the other deep-pockets can use Kansas City as a farm club, you'll never see the Royals field a long-running, perennial contender like they did in the 70s and 80s.

KC finally smells 4th place. So close. I think Ozzie would resign(SP) before he got embarssed like that. The Tribe needs to take advantage of the loss and take down Texas today. Take 3 out of 4. We have Byrd going today against Tejada or something like that, who has a 6.68 ERA. Matchup looks good but anything can happen.

KC's just a year into a rebuild with a new GM. And they look a lot better already. That rookie Butler looks like a stud.

All the credit in the world to the Royals, they could of just rolled over and played dead. Royals have a good young team, what do you think they could do next year with a little pitching help? By the way, get a life Paul B, it's just a game.
