i spend so much of my time yahoo answers asking and answering questions while i'm at work, but i would never tell any of my friends about it... does anyone else feel this way?

I know what you mean. I work at home. And I can think of ten other things I should be doing, including work. But this is so addictive.
I would never let anyone know how much time I spend doing this, and how excited I am when I get a Best Answer or move to another level.

i don't go on yahoo answers at work, as I work for a large company who checks to make sure people are not doing naughty things on the internet. but I do spend way too much time on it at home, its very addicting

it seems to me like yahoo questions is much more constructive waste of time than, for example, excessive myspace visiting. some people actually need info here, instead of senseless profile and picture viewing, with some silly comment conversations.
i would say that time spent on yahoo answers is probably better spent than lots of other internet activities.

Nah, Im not embarassed. I think its a cool way to spend time. It doesnt cost money, hurt anyone or cause problems. I learn, laugh and (try to) help others so that is pretty coolo to me.

no i am proud of my participation in Answers... i even got a t-shirt made............
of course i don't answer questions at work, since i am paid to work and not goof off.....
despite some of the silliness and spoofing in here there are actually some really helpful answers in here and for that part i am happy to be a contributor.....so get out of the yahoo closet and be proud of your hobby

Its a way to pass the time. I blame my boyfriend for getting me hooked. Would I tell my friends I spend time on here? No, I dont think I would.

yeah! I know I have suuuchchhh an exciting life! They'd prolly think I am a loser...but whose to say that they arent on here under a diff identity or something....lol..hell they could be one of these people that answered this question!!!!!!!!
