If you are into science fiction or military fiction like what Tom Clancy writes then you will love it.
The romance is sketched out, not filled out. The ethics violation is minor and even the man vs. machine issue isn't very big. Jamie Fox and the other actors do their jobs well, the special effects are correct and the stunts are all good, but the story revolves a round the ACAV (Armed Combat Air Vehicle). If you know what a UCAV is (Unarmed Combat Air Vehicle) and look to the future in their use then the movie is a must. But if you have never heard of a UCAV before then you probably won't appreciate the main issue.
The issue of pilot vs. man is an important one and a critical one to the Air Force, but outside of that world the movie loses its appeal. It is a good action flick with those "YEA, that's it!" moments, but there are many films that have these kinds of moments.
TOP GUN is better than STEALTH, but if you felt the pilots "need for speed" and remember that line. If you felt the jolt when the jets were catapulted off the deck then you would enjoy STEALTH.

I was surprised it was a as good as it was, I was expecting it to be a total effects flick with crappy characters but they weren't bad and there was an actual plot.

I fell asleep. the topic is interesting, but i think the execution is a little too sci-fi for me. or maybe i'm not that imaginative.

Teens might like it........some good CG scenes thats about all.
