10x+10+9x=-x-6
19x+10=-x-6
20x+10=-6
20x=-16
x=-16/20
x=-8/10
x=-4/5
also x=-4/5 (fractional form) or also -0.8 (in decimal form)
Hence x=-4/5
Must have missed the -10x+10+9x=-x-6
okay...
-x+10=-x-6
=NO SOLUTION

I have a question first... is it supposed to be negative 10x at the beginning or is that a mistake... cause i figured it out if it is a positive 10x, but a negative 10x didn't work right for me... here's the problem with a positive 10x
10x+10+9x=-x-6
19x+10=-x-6 add x to each side.
20x+10=-6 subtract 10 from each side
20x=-16 divide each side by 20
x=-16/20 simplify
x=-4/5

-10x + 10 + 9x = -x -6
(-10 + 9) x + 10 = -x -6
-x +10 = -x - 6
10 = -6

Simplify your left, making -x+10=-x-6. Problem is, the problem then becomes impossible. You end up with 10=-6.
