[BIG SPOILER :P]

Harry Dies? No. Voldemort performs the "Avada Kedavra" curse on him, and he is taken away to another place, where he speaks with the dead Dumbledore. However, Harry is NOT dead.

Because: Yes, many people were right when they thought that Harry was the 7th Horcrux, however what they didn't realise was that a bit of Harry was transferred to Voldemort too. So Voldemort can't kill Harry cos a bit of Harry is still living inside him. However, once Harry has "died", Voldemorts horcrux inside him is destroyed. Neville Longbottom kills Nagini the snake (the last horcrux) and Voldemort & Harry cast spells at each other (Avada Kedavra & Expelliarmus) when Voldemort's curse is rebounded, for the 3rd and final time, and he dies....

19 Years Later...
[Harry marries Ginny, (children: Albus, James, Lily) Ron marries Hermione (and they all live happily ever after]

I am a writer, and you can take it from me. Unless J K Rowling has lost her mind, she cannot kill Harry Potter. The first three books had sort of an uplifting ending. The next three were darker and ended not so good. This is what writers do. You stick your main character in a tree and throw rocks at them, make them look like they will die, but then you have to save them. Harry Potter will come out on top at the end of book 7. I can't say the same for his friends.

No, he wins. He thinks he must self-sacrifice, because a part of Voldemort is in him, since the attack when he was a baby. So he lets Voldemort "kill" him, but this self sacrifice saves Harry and only kills the part of Voldemort in him. He has a near-death experience where he talks to Dumbledore. He is not dead for some moments, as some say, because Dyumbledore clearly tells him that he is not dead, during this meeting. Harry duels him afterwards, and then Voldemort's curse backfires, and Voldemort dies, but harry lives. He marries Ginny and have children.

Harry dies but he does so to release the part of Voldemort' soul that he has in his body. After it is gone he comes back to life and than he kills Voldemort. Voldemort cannot be killed until all his souls have been killed.

In Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince, we learned that, to make himself immortal, Lord Voldemort ripped his soul into seven pieces, and created six horcruxes (the seventh piece of his soul still residing in his body)

Hard to explain properly without reading the book

No he really doesn't. He goes in like a dream/unconscious place between the worlds of something, but because Voldy put a piece of his soul in Harry, he can't die until that piece of soul dies. It acted as a shield and knocked both Harry and Voldy out. You really thought he WAS going to die and he was prepared to (he walked up to Voldy unarmed thinking that's what was needed to kill him). But he woke up, killed Voldy, married Ginny and had three kids.

He sacrifices himself to Voldemort to save his friends, but Voldemort only kills the part of Harry that is connected to Voldemort, allowing Harry to come back. Harry then duels Voldemort with Malfoy's wand and causes Voldemort's killing curse to backfire and kill himself.

at the battle of hogwarts, harry walks to the campsite where voldemort and the death eaters are. he voluntarily sacrifices himself for the sake of others((with the killing curse by voldemort)). he goes into a dream sort of thing where he is talking with dumbledore. he finally wakes up but pretends he is dead. people leave him to go attack on hogwarts. he puts on his invisibility cloak and goes into the big battle in the great hall with the cloak still on. he finally reveals himself to voldemort with everyone watching. he and voldemort cast spells at each other and voldemort's backfires on him and he is killed.

19 years later.....

harry and ginny marry- kids: james, albus severus, and lily
ron and hermione marry- kids: rose and hugo
malfoy marries and has a kid named scorpius
bill and fleur's kid falls in love with lupin and tonk's kid
neville is hogwarts's new herbology teacher

If you have the book just read the chapter that is called "The flaw in the plan" or something like that. It is a lot better to read it for yourself because it explains a lot. It's like he dies but comes back.

I'm not trying to offend you, but its better to read the book so you can surprise yourself. If you already know whats going to happen you'll ruin the suspense. If it helps i'll tell you he didn't die, but people very important die.
All the best!! =)
