ok.. so my printer needs a cd to be installed into the computer.. but i can't seem to fine it. =[. uhhh is there some alternative to the cd? or a download??

yes if you know the make and model of the printer , you can go to the manufacturers website and go to the support section and download the relevant software / drivers.

If there is an alternative it will be at the manufactures website. Most all offer drivers for their systems on line, so check the site of the manufacture for something like support or driver download links. Generally you can use their search feature and enter your make/model to find the proper drivers. Keep in mind to get the proper ones for your operating system.

Yes! You can download the drivers from the manufacturer's website or allow Windows to9 go online and search for the proper driver.

Personally, I'd go to the maker's site.

if your printer is usb you should just be able to plug it in it will say found new hardware and will ask normally for the cd however if you go to drivers.com you can download the required driver and point the hardware wizard at it usig the earch these specific locations.
