I have 2 months left on a 6 months lease, but have found a better job in a city about 70 miles away, so I am moving to this city to be near my new job, I have done told my landlord and she said I will lose my deposit of $150 plus pay 1 month rent $410 for the reletting fee, she said I had 30 days to pay it. If I am unable to pay this fee within the 30 days can my wages be garnish in the state of Texas or will I only have a bad credit rating.

why don't you give her 60 days notice and she can start showing the property for someone to move in when you move out, she can't collect double rent, if you only have 2 months left on term I don't understand why landlord would charge you a reletting fee. you might ask her about this again. you would have to pay rent until house is re-leases or a new tenant moves in which ever comes first.

I know the laws in texas and this doesn't sound right

A co-worker formerly worked in Texas, she always mentions how easy it was for a landlord to win there. She complains about all of Chicago's tenant rights. Take the deal, it sounds like a good way out. Maybe she would take a credit card?
