Leave it to my husband to pick a female black mystery snail to put into our 20 gallon with our male apple snail. He saw the first egg sack and decided he wanted to let them hatch and have little baby snails. Well then there was another and another and I tried to remove as many egg sacks as I saw but I'm sure some were hidden from my view. Anyhow, now we are overrun with lots of snails. While they are cute there are just way too many! I asked one of our local fish stores if they'd take them off our hands & they said they only buy their snails from "certified snail breeders". Any thoughts, ideas?

The eggs were above the water line my babies are all apple snails and mystery snails. Very beautiful and healthy little babies. I watched my mystery snail leave some of the egg sacks so I know they are hers. Plus I saw her and my apple snail mating frequently!
