Wow...that is probably the worst argument I have heard for any team winning the World Series...and why would you even include the Royals in any discussion for the World Series? Anyway, I will say no, the Red Sox will be the champs in the A.L. and win the series. The Red Sox have a good starting staff, one of the best bullpens in the league, and great hitting. I believe they have what it takes to win the whole thing this year.

THe Tigers are not the best team in the league. You may not want to talk big before the season is over. Remember last year, the Tigers blew the lead in the AL Central to the Twins but granted they went to the World Series but lost to the Cardinals. When & if the Tigers win the World Series, then you talk all you want about how great they are but until then, try to remember the glory days of 1985, the last time your team won a World Series. Let's see you said the Red Sox, Yankees, Indians & Twins suck but if I recall, haven't all those teams, not to sure about Indians, won a World Series since 1985. My Yankees have multiple rings since 1985. Tigers suck!!!!!!!!!!

Relax, man...relax. The Tigers have to make the play-offs first. And then we'll have to play either the angels or The Red Sox. Boston is not going to be an easy team to beat. After that we might have to play The Indians (who, btw, do NOT suck!).
You sound like a yankee fan, and we all know Tiger fans have way more class and style than that.

The Tigers won't win the World Series because they won't get to the PLAYOFFS let alone the World Series. It'll be Boston, Cleveland, Angels, and either the Yanks or Mariners in the Wild Card.
The Tigers are overrated, especially Ordonez!
Yes, the Royals do suck. They're the worst team in baseball.

Amazing. You must really be hoping and stretching. Your team is good but blew their chance last year. The Red Sox will go to thw WS and face either the Mets Padres. And since I belive pitching wins titles, then I'll go with the Padres. Sorry to burst your bubble.

The pitching will only get better as the arms get healthier, unlike last year when the staff as a whole peaked in early September & the every day lineup is the best in baseball.

Not this year.
Their pitching is just not as good as last years. Kenny Rogers onthe DL didn't help, Bonderman is ok but Robinson is not up to snuff like last year. Verlander still looks great though. The offense is still great. Poloncio, (you guys are lucky we traded him & didn't keep him :-)) looks like a master at any position. Ordonez....God...he's just awsome as is Carols Guillen.
