i have an exhaust leak in my 95 maxima. what does that mean, and how does it effect my car?

Take it to an exhaust repair shop. As driving it will put ex==inside the car not good.See what it needs.

An exaust leak means that there are small holes or your gaskets are bad in your pipes of your exaust.There is a special additive that has dye in it that you can pour into your gas tank that will not hurt the car. You will have to run your car for about 10-20 min and when the dye finaly mixes all the way with your gas it goes out the exaust, and you just start looking around your whole exaust system and see where the leak is it will come out what ever color the dye was that you bought and replace the parts or seals that are leaking good luck
