How DARE you judge all French people by the actions of just one French person. That kind of attitude leads to A LOT of hate, prejudice, intolerance, not to mention the Holocaust, Segregation, and other such horrific acts. You're no better than Hitler in my opinion.
Well anyway, yeah, respond. It's only the right thing to do. Tell him you know nothing about the band. Keep it cordial. No racist remarks!

Its very common to receive random messages and/or friend requests on myspace. The best thing to do is just ignore them. Sometimes hackers attempt to contact you in various ways in hopes of gaining access to your account, so if you don't recognize someone, don't respond. If you feel like something "is up," mark it as SPAM, or block that user.
Just a tip: If you find that a hacker has gained access to your account, (as in, you see bulletins popping up that you didn't post, comments, etc.), just change your password.

i would just bolck him and he cant even bother you again anymore or even can sent a abuse report about the guy . that he didnt leaving you alone. he can lied about the whole thing and trying to hit on you instead . so you shouldnt not spoke to him at alll.
