Because the Eraser Fairy sneaks in and steals it. She collect all shapes and colors. So my suggestion to you is to invest in a big,big, bag of erasers and to put them everywhere so she will have a harder time collecting them all and they will be there when you make a mistake on your paper. She might think its thoughtful if you put a few in a bag for her with her name on it , as a gift, then she might leave you alone and stop taking your precious "ERASERS".

Because you keep trying NOT to lose it! If you didn't care as much about where it was at all times it wouldn't always be "lost."

I'll check my son's room....if you dropped it, I'll bet that he found it! He always has a handful of pens and pencils that he finds all over the place. hahahaha =D
