It was so obvious that Snape was protecting Harry from very early on in the series.

Yeah. Dumbledore always seemed to be one step ahead of everyone, I knew he had to either know Snape would kill or asked him too. Plus there was that whole bond with Narcissa to keep Draco out of trouble. Anyway, I kind of figured Dumbledore's death would be the motivation Harry finally needed to grow and move on and look for the answers on his own.

I think no matter what your opinion was good/bad I think you were wrong. Snape is a very complex person and mostly is very selfish and is on his own side.

Well, I read things on the internet saying he was good, I never inititially thought he was "evil", just mean to Harry and them. The internet was right. I don't think I was right, but not wrong either.

I was right about him being good.. but I never thought that he would be in love with Lily.. that blew me away.
