yeah you can, but word of warning, no matter how well behaved your dog is please go to your local pet shop/vets/oline store and buy a harnes that allows the seat belt to be fastened through it. These are becoming more popular now and even the worlds best behaved dog can sometimes get a shock and if that happens whilst you are driving you will prob have 1 dead dog, which nobody wants. Good luck, I have a black peugeot 206cc and 2 staffies who love it with the roof down but not if its closed as too cramped for them.

sure you can and it is better for the dog have you ever noticed that when a dog is in a car they always have their heads out the window this is not because they are nosy but because they need the air. Not that your car may stink but because dogs do not have sweat glands and they use the moving air to cools themselves so yes you can let a dog ride in a open top car

Where are you driving the dog too? (grin) oh sorry...made a funny. Probably, it happens all of the time in LA, check with the state hwy department. I don't think you'll be fined, just asked to put the roof up.

Yes, but you need to have it secured properly. Either a harness fixed to the car structure or a portable kennel properly secured. You don't want the dog jumping about, or doing a runner, or flying around in an accident

Yes if you can train him to stay. Farmers have them in the back of trucks all the time. If it's a sports car you will have to get him goggles and a scarf so he looks cool...

RAC sell brilliant harnesses that attach to your dog (round their chest) and then attaches to you cars seatbelt. It will keep them secure and safe and you can drive worry free.

My Bullmastiff pup (18 weeks) sits on the front seat of my A4 cabriolet (with his harness on of course!) and he loves it! and he also loves the music on too! He sits there sniffing the air, taking it all in, ears flapping about, it's the best! :)
