I say Muslim women if you dont want to follow the bull crap your men are preaching, get with an American man who can protect you. Muslim men you dont tell women they cant be free in America. If you dont like it, get out. Your time is limited here anyway.

Well we all know what can happen to Muslim women in the UK if they don't toe the line. There is a family here just been sent down for life for murdering their teenage daughter in an "honour" killing because she wouldn't submit to an arranged marriage. In their eyes they saw this as bringing unspeakable shame on the family. I hope they think the price was worth it.

I am a Christian, and I still feel compelled to let you know that your question shows a lack of cultural understanding.
Your statement is just plain insensitive.
If the woman who comes to the US chooses; as is her right; not to follow the customs, she does so with the understanding that it comes with a price.
She even takes the chance on being excommunicated from her family.
These are not decisions they make without giving it a lot of thought.
Many religious practices are based on the culture, and traditions of their native countries.
Although we may completely disagree with it, we should however respect it.
