Deos anybody know of a fast and easy to remove carpet?

My carpet is wet from an ac leaking which the ac is fixed but now I need to remove the wet carpet.

cut it up in smaller pieces and through it away

empty the room of all furniture,lift a corner of the carpet and pull it back,roll it up,,cut it into smaller lenghts if you are removing it yourself.do the same with the padding.If you do need to cut the carpet,cut it from the back side with a utlity knife,much easier than cutting it from the top side.
