Do I need to have them to charge the battery in the store before I install it?

buying a car battery does not ensure that the car will start and you must have other problems ..... try to get the car to the battery store so they can check it out and find the real problem and get your car straight ..........

you either got the wrong battery or your hookup is incorrect. each car requires a specific type and size battery.

probally got one that was too small return it and put one of a larger size in it if that doesnt work theis somthing wrong with your connection
