how do you open a 5 gallon plastic container?

Hi, they make a opener for them. It looks like a pry bar with a Handel on it. (made from hard plastic) Look on those strip clips,hanging on the sides of the end-caps,in the paint department of your local Hardware Store.Most of the time, that's where they keep them.I've never seen them hanging on a peg hook,in the aisle. If you can't find them,ask the person working that area. They do make and sell them. Bye

Most have instructions on the container. The ones I have used have raised lines about every 3" around the lid. You cut at each line with a utililty knife and then pry up.
