Ah, a great question! It is amazing; in this day and age, "who are you" often refers to "what are you to the company: the janitor or the CEO". People tend to evaluate a person based upon his position in life.
Who I am is an old man in the autuum of my life; I did the best I could and now I am retired, so I am self-fulfilled. More, my wife and sons fulfilled my life, making me WHO I am!

great question. i have no idea. but when you consider that the entity you call "you" is just a jumble of opinions, experiences, thoughts and ideas, you realize that there really is no "you". your "self" is just an illusion that you create to interact with other human beings and perceive the world around you. but it's not really there. and if you choose to destroy your "self", destroy your "ego" and let go of selfishness, you begin to exist in a state of mind that's truly beautiful. read up on buddhism man, it talks all about this type of thing.
your question is one that all human beings should ask themselves constantly, for it is the question that truly begins to inspire positive change and progressive thinking in all individuals.
