I think we have no right to comment on other peoples' lifestyles and eating habits. I know the people from India think it is horrible that we eat cows and the Jews and Muslims think we're barbarians for eating pork, but really, it's all the same; just what you grew up with. The USA is fast on the way to becoming an ex-world power because George Bush doesn't like the Islamic peoples' lifestyle. I'd rather be a Korean and eat dogs than an American and realise my country was totally wrecked.

In truth it has been raining cats and dogs so it will get rid of a few. It is there culture and they eat that like we eat chicken I suppose ?
But I have to say saw a news report on the dog trade and I had to turn it off it was so sad, it is a bit barbaric.

I think it's gross, but that's because our culture uses dogs and cats as pets and not food sources. However, it's quite normal in other cultures and some cultures would even find things that we eat repulsive. Live and let live!! :)

I don't think anything about them. That is their culture, I think we all should respect it.
Cats and dogs generally have a large population in the first place, and many of them die due to lack of nutrition and food sources. So, would you rather have them die a slow painful death, or be killed instantly to be eaten for our nourishment?
It is like us humans eating any other animal. There is nothing we can do about it. I see that you love animals, take this knowledge and love your pets even more, knowing that others are being eaten by people.

i think they must be very hungry to enjoy cat steaks
or dogball soup. perhaps we could send them some nice haggis made from the guts of a sheep
or how about some dead pig?
some chicken foetuses ?(eggs)
little fluffy lamb chops
some slices of Bambi ? (venison)
perhaps a little bunny rabbit for starters

I cannot judge them as this has been a necessity in their life due to circumstances beyond their control, To have to come up with a way for them and their families to survive I suppose if I were in their shoes I may do the same to survive

if that's their culture and what they do I guess I'll say it's ok for them. I feel bad for the cats and dogs but that's life. And eating cats and dogs is kinda sick to me.

We eat: Parts of cows and their young, also sheep and lambs, ducks, geese, chickens, pigs, various sea creatures (inc. crabs, skate, shrimps).
The Aussies eat Kangaroo
How much difference would it be to add cats and dogs to our diet?
