I have several pairs with runs, snags or holes in one leg. It seems a shame to just throw them away. Does anybody know some alternative uses for them?

Sell them on ebay! You'd be surprised how much you could sell them for!

One of the best uses I have found is to use a pair to clean the bugs off the front of the car. Just use some warm soapy water and pantyhose and the bugs will be easily removed, well it may take a little work.

As long as they only have small runs or snags and aren't totally shredded, usually I'll try to dab some nail polish around the hole or run so that it doesn't get any worse and wear those pairs with pants or even longer skirts, as long as the problem area wouldn't be visible.

there are many things you can do with pantyhose once you get a ladder/run
- here is two things i do when i laddder/run mine

1 - cut the laddered leg off wait till i have it happen to another pair the same colour do the same and both on each leg. you've still got your pantyhose on and its warmer in the private area.

2 - were them under trousers; no one can see a laddered when they are under them, plus it keeps your legs warm in the winter.

hope these ideas help you
- give them a try

Sometimes I get travel soaps and decorative soaps as gifts and they are too pretty or smell good to use.. .I put them in the leg of a pantyhose and hang in my closet to keep my clothes smelling nice/fresh...

Just cut the legs and drop in the soap and wrap around closet bar....

Good luck
