of COURSE we are all talk when it comes to women's rights! We just decided that Affirmative Action was no longer necessary (white women benefitted most from it) and the wage gap continues to grow! Meanwhile, most americans cringe at the thought of 'feminism' as though it were 'nazism', in fact, one of the more popular talking heads coined the term 'feminazi' and it stuck. No, we are not free or equal in this country.

My opinion is that the U.S. will in fact have a female president in due time. There is no relevant reason why a woman could not fill the role as president in these times we live in.
I do however think that Hillary Clinton would be a bad choice. Bush did enough to damage the republican party, I think Hillary would completely destroy the dems. Besides, she has already been a "behind closed doors" president, no reason to repeat her "I mean her husbands" term of office again. We live in a time where our president needs a spine, and the Clinton's have proven that they my have the charisma to make some people love them, but they do not have the spine to stand up to our enemies in this day and age.

They'll go into park just as soon as the race begins for President of the United States. They don't have anyone running and besides the Republican party is dead , Bush killed it a long time ago. His low rating doesn't matter , some people feel sorry for retarded President that has a double digit IQ a idiot IQ of 91. Can't read , write, ride a bike or tie his shoes are just anything that it takes a maggot mind to do. I heard on the news he is going to go bike riding today , well here we go again when it is so hot and dry , he hits a mud muddle and slides, he'll be all either skinned or walking with a limp in the morning . What a laugh for a President, old Goofy.

It'll happen eventually. It may be very possible that Hillary will be it.
Bear in mind there are people who will vote for the first of something (Barack Obama being the first black president, Hillary being the first female) just for that reason -- they want to have "been there" when it happened.
It will happen inevitably, even if it's not this time around. It'll be interesting to watch and see what happens.

Yes.
The women "rights" issues is subjective. Women have the same constitutional rights as men, however, they often choose not to enforce them. An example is a recent study of the question why men sometimes get paid more, most often the answer is women don't ask for more, they settle with what they have.
Perhaps the question should be, when will we teach our daughters not to settle for what is offered them, but instead demand more. That way we can have more wars and cheaper gas.

Regardless of what happens to Hillary, the US can, and over time almost certainly will, elect a woman as President.

Electing a woman because she is a woman is foolish.
I will gladly elect a woman if I think she shares my ideology... no woman running does.
Until she does... you can continue your silly rant.
There are many reasons Hillary is a bad choice for President, especially to conservatives, I can't think of anyone who is not voting for her because of her gender.

conservatives arent attacking her. she is the most centrist of the other dem candidates. im conservative, and i worry about whether feminism will be her top agenda, and whether she has the "balls" to stand up to male terrorists, and male-led nations that hate the US.
nicki, you seem to crave attention by not answering the question, but instead saying what you want which is completely irrelevant.

If there is ever a competant, intelligent female candidate then hell yeah I'd vote for her, and a lot of other people would too.
