The doorbell ringing

You can just ignore a phone call and call that person back, but when your doorbell rings, you have to go answer the door. You usually look like crap because you've been sleeping.

The phone because I probably wouldn't hear the doorbell. When I was growing up, our phone rang in the middle of the night and no one answered it, then the doorbell rang and it was the town Marshall trying to get a hold of us that my brother had been in a bad car wreck. It was them trying to call us and thank goodness we heard the doorbell. He was fine after a long hospital stay but his friend wasn't so lucky.

The doorbell, because that means someone is actually physically there and i'd feel worse about ignoring them than ignoring a ringing phone.

The doorbell by far. It could be someone scary and you actually have to walk to get the door. The cell phone you can just push a button to turn off or just answer it simply.

The phone. OMG!! I hate being startled from my sleep. I can barely hear my doorbell from upstairs but the phone is right next to my head on the nightstand.
