I think it is only a matter of time before it happens again. We will get too comfortable and feel safe again and then we will slacken safety rules and it will happen again. Americans hate being inconvenienced.

Yes
That is part of life, and I don't plan on "waiting and worrying" about it. Terrorist live to terrorize!
My life is to wonderful to allow a horrble event to "shut it down". We need to express our freedom.
We are AMERICANS! We are the universial "mutt" of nationalities, not a pure breed among us. I love it that way.
Stop building fences and walls, hating our neighbors for their color or culture and get ON with life. That's what makes us great!
Bush is diverting our attention toward a Mexican/American civil war and away from the fact the world thinks we are bullying them after 9/11 and most are ready to fight us now! I raq is over...move on. We are not the keeper of that nation. I will support one more year of our troops in this event, yet after that, we need to call a "loss a Loss" and move on.
Our nations healthcare system needs a huge makeover and so does our welfare services.
We need to increase security at our basic levels, FOOD, WATER and all imports from stuff to people.
This upcoming election year will see a serious change in the nations trust in the their leader. Its a "Show me" nation.

It's highly possible.
If America pulls out of Iraq before the country is stable, you can almost bet 100% that the terrorists will be imboldened and will raise their attempts to attack America by a 100 fold.

They've tried many times and failed. Often you don't hear about these failed attempts, or they fade from memory quickly because "nothing happened". Just like if 9-11 had been prevented a week in advance, it would have been a mostly-forgotten footnote in media records.

Hey I'm No*no
Yes it is going to happen again, and it is going to get worse. The bible tells us about the wars. And it will be kingdom against kingdom. And nation against nation. But the only thing to stop it from happening to you. Is getting saved. Jesus is becoming back before things get really bad. But he's only taking those who believe in him. So if you don't believe, you better harry up. He's waiting on all his own. You can be one. If you want to learn more. E-mail me. I'll be more than happier to share the good news with you. G.B.

There is a possibility, only now Airports are safer. It is unlikely for it to happen, and if someone did plan to, I think people would be able to stop it since they already know from experience of over 5 years ago.

I doubt it. The element of surprise is gone. Something on
the same scale, different action; possibly... . However, our
security measures adopted since then reduces this considerably.

I hope not, I pray that we learned not to be complacent and that we are more prepared. The best way to maintain the peace is to be at a constant readiness for war.

Wow, great question, great answers!
Pray not; but don't stop there, live your life making a positive difference and who knows, maybe it will become contagious and the weapons will one day be obsolete.
