his suicidal daughter and asked to read a letter she had written.i opened the link and got a porn page,which i closed but it was late...the viras destroyed almost everything in the PC.think twice before opening any links.i know most people here are well intentioned but some are just sick.

Always scan anything, anyone sends you that you don't know.
A few years ago, I learned that one the hard way. A file I was sent through email and opened trashed my whole computer.
I lost all of my financial files and pictures. So. now I scan everything, it's a pain, but with the destructive idiots we have now, you can't be to careful.

Well, there are servers out there that could kill your PC, i know, but I think you should also consider bumping up your security a bunch, firewalls, anti-spyware, anti-virus, all of it. Go to this site
