Is it because these two allegedly intelligent doctors really are 'at most, naive' or
because they are only inexperienced parents and the nanny wouldn't have left the children unattended or
because the team of high exec lawyers, hired after a couple of days, advised them from the start that it would be an admission of guilt?
Good advice for the McCanns has been in short supply - their press conferences have been ill-advised and totally botched up by Gerry. Why is he being allowed to continue with a blog where he continues to spell his daughter's name wrong, mentions her only in reference to the 'fund' and give the opinion that jogging is much more satisfying than looking for his eldest daughter.
As for Kate, under Gerry's thumb? What is she all about - is she going to continue moping about opening emails, getting her hair/make up done/picking her outfit for the day?
McCanns - stop jogging and stop blogging. Your daughter needs you.

Because for some strange reason they don't realise what they have done is wrong!
It makes me sick really, these people don't deserve to be parents if they can't look after their own litle flesh and bloods!
charge them with neglect NOW!

Possible, 'cos they never did think that what they did was wrong. Am sure now, in retrospect, they've learnt, the hard way, that they were very wrong, but for some reason don't think it fit to apologise to the general public.
I don't condone their leaving their babies unattended that night at all, but neither do i stoop to vilify their every single action consequent to that night. Does that make me pro-McCann?
You'd do well to stop assuming that the abusers out here are pro-McCanns or McCanns for that matter. My take is that they're just a pathetic bunch who don't know any better & who get their kicks from stirring things up with abuse. Ignore them. They're just jealous of our healthy debate...

some one is going to make a lot of money out of this - i hope it isn't them
i know everyone gets their 15 minutes of fame but they're more famous than god at the moment - there's something a little sick about the whole thing - if they left their child alone they should be shot ( not literally ) and if they were that close by as some have said how come they didn't see who took their child.
there is something wrong with the whole thing or maybe its just my instinct playing me up.
i hope they find her safe and well anyway

I think it's a combination of the last two of your points - they're both inexperienced parents and didn't know how to look after their kids 24 hours a day without the nanny AND they were advised from day one not to admit to anything as it would be an admission of guilt and therefore would line themselves up to be done for neglect.
I think 'at most, naive' is the furthest away from the truth that you can get.

They are far from naive ... naive people do not get the best legal eagles in and fund it with money donated in the belief it would be used to actually help locate Maddie..
This whole thing has been a cover up and lie upon lie has added to the confusion .....
Soon the truth will come out .....
I believe they are very much aware that their actions were wrong hence why they have kept quiet about their actions and respond by saying the negative comments are hurtful...
No .. what is hurtful is no one gives a hoot about Maddie and they are far more concerned with protecting themselves from criminal charges and futile attempts at clearing themselves of any guilt

McCanns, why they confessed to The Pope, he forgave them & told them to continue with the fund-raising Campaign !
Simple, but unlikely......
More than likely, they don't know what to do next ?
Having exploited the Media for personal gain, they cannot cope with the criticisms levelled at them now !
Just goes to show, if they had dealt with the problem differently, & in a less world-wide manner, greater sympathy,
in my opinion, would have been forthcoming from All Parties.

Its my thought they've never apologised for leaving them alone because they've done it several times at home in the UK......as for the Pro Mccann's I will venture to say they're either Mccann's family/friends or they're simple Pro Mccann robot followers.....mind it does take a serious, level headed adult to look and listen to news reports and events and make ones own mind up.....
There are several Pro Mccann's on here that write Gerry's words almost verbatim....

I've been away on hols, come back and logged on to YA to catch up on the Mc Scam saga hoping they would have been arrested for child neglect or abduction. But alas, everything is the same , no arrests ,no change, except I suppose the fund has kept growing. When will the police stop arsing around and charge them ?

Wrong?? according to the McCanns all they did was go and have dinner much like we would do at the bottom of our garden!
I think that they think if they keep telling us lies, we'll believe them eventually, much like they seem to be doing.
What we really know is that they went out to a bar to get hammered at some distance away from their apartment and their children. The kids were out of sight and out of mind.
