Oh no, don't tell me you've lost it? Next time, tether it with a brass trap. Good horns are hard to come by, and need lots of maintenance - regular buffing up and a good blow to keep that lovely warm tone.
Personally I like French horns best, but I could make an exception for my favourite pot noodle.
