mixzo (1) it doesn't matter what they do with it, they appropriate it and do with it what they want to do with it (2) I spend and invest it thereby creating jobs, which is better than a program for people who don't have jobs because the money I'd have spent and invested got taken away (3) only about a quarter on the dollar in most government welfare programs actually goes to the welfare recipient, the rest goes to administration - i.e., hacks, i.e., yes they keep it for themselves.

coryagraph, they're appropriating the money - - - they're putting it to the use that they want, that's the same as keeping it.

1848 no, that's why tax revenue should go only to infrastructure, not redistribution. I'm sick of the "roads and bridges" argument, it's disingenuous - - - over 2/3 of the budget is pure and unadulterated boondoggle.
