Considering the battery life and how many mp3's you can hold with 4 gigs, why does anyone need more memory? You probably will only be able to watch 1 movie before the battery died. And who woud want to watch a movie that small in screen. Thats what a Laptop if for. Please explain for all you that need larger Storage.

I have 4x250GB (total of 1TB) hard drives in my computer and they are all completely full. I constantly have to delete files whenever I want to download again. My iPod have 60GB and it's also full (half of it is videos).
Most of the people won't use all that space but some people (like me) download huge ammounts of files and try to keep most of them.
By the way, the iPhone is not that good, the phone's success is mostly due to heavy marketing. In Japan, you can currently get phones with way more functions and higher quality for the same price. If you do a little search on Youtube, you will find that Japaneses are not really interested in the iPhone as they are already 1 generation further than America with technology.
Apple didn't invent anything and the phone is not an inovation. It's quite limited but since Apple have the money to promote it, it's selling.

i know for me that the storage is good for more photos, music songs and stuff,not movies really sometimes if you have 1000 or more songs you need bigger space for more of a selection .
