I already know the answer to this question. I just thought ever one would like to have a BIG LAUGH for the day or even the month. When I was told about this situation all I could do was laugh really hard....Have a really good laugh!!!!

Don't laugh to much.

By super glue I assume the person meant silicone. In my experiences using the proper automotive silicone will seal just as good if not better and outlast the gaskets you can buy.

That's just . . . well

I try to understand when people don't know what they're talking about. I probably would have told her that if it's a belt, it can be put on with silicon, but if it's a chain, there better be a good gasket there.
