Harry Potter doesnt die. Voldemort does! =)
Voldemort yelled "AVADA KEDAVRA" in that evil way that he always does and Harry yelled "EXPELIARMUS" (or however you spell it) but because Voldemort was using a wand (The elder wand, a really powerful wand that can do anything) that Harry was the master of, the spell backfired and killed Voldemort instead.
Voldemort was able to die because all of the horcruxes were destroyed.
The Ring.
The Diary.
The Locket.
The Goblet (of hufflepuff I think.)
A lost diadem (which means tiara)
Voldemorts beloved Snake, Nagini
And Harry (only he came back to life)
It turns out that Snape actually had a lifelong love for Lily, Harry's mom and never had an evil bone in him. He killed Dumbledore in book 6 on orders and acted as a spy for Dumbledore. Voldemort later killed him in book 7.

-Harry's godson, Ted (son of Lupin and Tonks who are dead) is seen kissing a girl named Victorie (supposedly daughter of Bill and Fleur who got married at the beginning of the book)

Severus turns out to be a good guy.Ginny and harry get married and have three kids James, Albus Severus and lily in that order.Ron and Hermione get married and have two kids,Hugo and rose.Hagrid still works at Hogwarts. Neville Long bottom becomes Professor Long bottom of Herbology at Hogwarts. Draco Malfoy also has a son.The scene is based when the kids(except lily,who still has 2 more years) are boarding the train for Hogwarts. Lupin's son Teddy is treated as family by the potters.He is snogging Victorie another cousin of the Potter's.This is the epilogue which is 19 years after the book ends.There is scope for a sequel.The book reads like a screenplay and is targeted at the movie(future).

i haven't read the book i just looked that stuff up on wikipedia but i am still going to read the book and you should too because they are really good!
