It stayed for two weeks on the front bonnet. Just took car to hand car wash, and it didn't come off? Like a residue that's on the top of the bonnet. Is it permanent? How do I get it off? Help!

Bug and Tar remover $2.00. Will clean anything especially leather and upholstery. Go get some. It's great around the house also.

After 2 weeks the crap has most likely etched into the paint. It "can" be polished out , but its not an easy job. For future reference, try washing the car in Fenwicks Caravan cleaner. I find that after doing so , dirt and especially bird **** seems to come off much easier

Bird s**t heeds to be taken off quickly. It will have etched the paint surface after 2 weeks. Try washing it thoroughly with warm soapy water and a soft sponge, then plenty of wax polish to rebuild the surface.

I don't know any secrets for removal but I discovered that there are certain spots under which one does not park. It took me weeks of paranoia to finally realize that I was parking under a bird toilet! It wasn't pigeons but ravens. For reasons best known to them they go there to do their business. Everyone who parks under that lamp post gets the same treatment.

Pay a wee kid on their school holidays, tae remove it. It may take all day but you will have saved them from their first shoplifting charge in Asda!!
