The problem is that here you are trying construct a God on the image of man, so He is only turning out to be a super human, only more powerful and with more pronounced habits and whims. While God who is the Source energy, cannot be so, for He is not a person person, just a source of energy, so He cannot have any temperament issues or idiosyncrasies, we would have save ourselves from. He is love energy incarnate, so how can it feel anything but love for us. So you need to adjust your concept of God a bit to make it more realistic and approachable for you.
Whatever you do you cannot offend God or the source energy so He doesn't need to punish you for anything, as nothing is punishable for Him, and since He also lives in you, as you, so He will only punish himself.
Good and evil are human definitions, God which is the source energy is beyond them, rather is the composite of both of them, thus beyond them too.
Was there anyone that Jesus didn't love?

God doesnt dump ppl in hell for eternity, its that those ppl refuse God's forgiveness
God will give you more than a second chance, he gives you as much chances as you need
in the Bible it says God forgives your sins, then forgets them
weird how someone who knows everything should forget something right?
well, He forgets b/c He chooses to.
if you believe in Jesus and God, and ACCEPT him as your savior, then you are gauranteed a spot in heaven
some ppl dont believe in Jesus, which is why they're not saved. some pplbelieve but dont want it, also why theyre not saved
God rejoices in forgiving and welcomes it; He will always forgive. the only unforgivable is sin is NOT choosing to ask for forgiveness
and God isnt a liar, cuz he's perfect! also He is sinless, well b/c he is God and He doesn't allow sin where He is anyway, thats why we're here..
i really hope that helps you and gets you less confused, please feel free to e-mail me :)
God bless!

Religion is a man made, question a 2000yr old book that was translated so many times from an archaic language.
There is some good in all teachings, knowledge is cold fact, having the intelligence to apply the knowledge for everyones good not just a few but for humanity.
Would'nt that be great!!!!

To answer your question, and this is my beleif, you have to turn a soul to god to enter heaven (one soul is enough). You can do good works too, but without the saved souls, be sure to pack plenty of hot dogs. On the second half, according to the letters of Paul, if you know God's law but aren't in the religon, your saved anyway. So in other words, any Hindu who follows God's law can get in. Hope that makes you happy.

He doesn't dump the people He hates in hell for two reasons- first, it's the people who hate Him, not Him who hates the people, and second, they dump themselves there. If you live a bad and self-centered life when you know better, you're basically saying, "I know God wants me to end up in heaven, but screw him, I'm going to do drugs if I want, I'm going to shoot people if I want, I'm going to do everything how and when I want to do it and hang the consequences." If you live that way, why would you go to heaven? There's a difference between bad circumstances and bad people. Deep down, we all know what we need to do to end up in heaven; it's up to us to decide whether we want to do it or not.
Good Hindus most likely won't go to hell for not believing in Jesus. We can't say for certain who will and won't go to hell because your soul at the end of your life is between you and God, and no one else. But it's my view that anyone who does their best to live a good life will go to heaven, regardless of religion. If you were raised Christian and refuse to believe, you might need to take a closer look at yourself. But if you were raised Hindu and were taught that Christianity was a heathen religion, you probably wouldn't believe in it and that's not really your fault.
So no, God isn't a liar. He permits evil to exist because if it didn't exist, we wouldn't have a choice between doing right and wrong. We couldn't freely choose to love Him- we'd be puppets forced to submit to His will. True, we wouldn't realize it if there was no evil in the world, but wouldn't you rather know you were choosing the right thing over the wrong thing, than go merrily along not realizing you had no choice? We have to learn for ourselves that our greatest happiness will come from doing His will. We'll never be outright forced into it.

God is... hmm... well... God created everything. God created concepts, time, space, etc, and God is beyond anything. God doesn't restricted by the law of time and space... God even created the concept of "good" and "evil".. thus God is both good and evil... and not one of them as well...
well, my point is, it's impossible trying to understand God. I believe trying to judge what does God want, and what/how/who God is doesn't go anywhere... So uhm... just do things that you think is good, that's all.

You mean gods. There are many people who believe in a variety of gods. It is arrogance to assume that you are right and that for thousands of years people who believed in all the Norse, Roman and Greek gods are wrong.
Your god is not forgiving. Just as you noted. Personally, any advanced being that would punish people twice (double jeopardy) for some thing that they have already been punished for is vindictive and hateful.
They want you to fear your god. Enjoy living life that way.
