Why dont they make it look nice? It has been like that for years.

Because it's artificial turf which, by default, is ugly.

When you say "for years", do you mean 2 years?
In 2005 they installed FieldTurf, which is the closest thing to natural grass and it's definitely an improvement. It's actually the same as the Metrodome, Tropicana and what the Expos had in their final season.
To me it looks nice. Just take a look

Not just their turf. Their uniforms look bad too. They should go back to the uniforms they wore from 1997-2002.

because they dont get money like the yankees do and plus no fans go there so it doesnt matter
