Pleas advise your girlfriend of the following concerning employment as an exotic dancer in the Las Vegas area. First, she will have to apply for and obtain a Sheriff's work card which is issued by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. During the course of that she will be fingerprinted and will also be checked for wants and warrants through the National Crime Information System.
The application for that card must originate from her prospective employer. Should she have a felony record of any sort, or have active warrants out for her arrest, the card won't be issued to her and she won't be employed in that industry.
I offer you this information because hundreds of young ladies descend on this valley every month without knowing what sort of hoops they have to jump through to work in a strip club.

It all depends on your gf's looks and moves. If she was to work at scores or cheetahs, she better be smokin hot a.k.a. Jenna Jameson. If she is of that caliber she can keep her tips and not have to pay others off as much. If she is average, Treasures or Olympic Garden, she will be expected to sell certain amount of drinks ($7 Pepsi and so on). If she cannot get 4 drinks per hour, they will charge her for it. If she gets stuck at a place like Larry's Villa, not only will she have to pay to work there, have drinks deducted and do other "favors", she won't be so happy.
But it is not like these dancers have a union with a set rate and fringes. If they can work the system, they can make a lot of money. Newbies will get eaten for lunch. It's best if she gets a little experience outside of Vegas.

My friend was a nanny who decided to go strip for more money - she worked at a couple of local places first and then went to Vegas. But don't kid yourself - to make the great cash you will have to do more than strip. There are VIP rooms, etc. for a reason. Do you really want her doing that?? My friend quit, she did okay but had to drink to feel comfortable and was worried about running into people she knew.
