I am worried about being stuffed in a seat for 2 hours for something boring and stupid. Any reccomendations for movies that are amusing? I already seen the stupid Ratatoulli and thought it was funny.

Steer clear of Transformers and Chuck Larry.
GO SEE HAIRSPRAY! It will be the best time you have in a movie theatre all summer. Go see that.

Transformers is actually a good summer flick. For being a hoaky concept it actually turns into an entertaining film. Harry Potter is good, although you won't like it if you don't know the story. With Transformers you don't need a history to understand the story. As far as comedies go I'm not sure what some of the best are right now. Hairspray might be decent, but it seems a little cheesy as well. Transformers is 2 1/2 hours, Harry Potter is about the same, and Hairspray is about 2 hours. Good luck!

Don't see Transformers, I thought it was really boring. And I heard I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry is supposed to be really dumb. So I think you should go see Hairspray, because if you don't leave the theatre tapping your feet with a smile on your face, then there is something wrong with you.

There are tons of good summer hits out there. Just about anything you go see should be decent. Make sure you're not going to a 3 hour one and you'll be fine.

The worst movie to see is Licensed to Wed, but I liked Transformers.

Completely depends on what kind of movie you like...If you like action, transformers is a definite must-see. Like the others said, theres not many bad movies out if you like their respective genres.
