Sounds like he is NEEDY. If you have told him to back off and he refuses end the relationship. It's ok to say stop, leave me alone. It's healthy to watch out for yourself. He is responsible for how he handles the breakup if it occurs. He is not your responsibility. Be honest and kind. But set YOUR LIMITS. It's called DATING. We date different people till we find someone to marry, right? No time limits, those are the functions of dating. If he is only a friend then say so early.

For some, the pillow treatment would be good. Actually, I have a live and let live policy, but they know I am there for them.
