What color should I paint my old bicycle?

I have an old bike that I actualy gave to a freind a few years ago, and told him all it needed was new tubes. Well, he never came and got it, and its been sitting out behind my house since then, and he finaly moved away and didnt take it. it was a pretty nice bike in it's day, so I thought I would clean it up and use it as an extra, but it has gotten all rusty and faded, so I want to paint it, but I cant decide what color (I thought about flourescent Orange) My newer bike is already orange, so maybe something different, what do you think?

If you're interested in it's potential resale value, you might want to think twice about painting it. There is likely more artifactual value for an older bike with original paint than with new paint.

Red with black spots and maybe you could add some wings to it and make it fly. That would be pretty cool.... or stick ET in your front basket and they you wouldn't need to fit wings : )

If you were a woman I'd say bright yellow, but since I think you are a guy I'd say deep purple or turquoise.

Yellow with black decals might be good. My road bike (Trek 1200) is black, gray and red, and it looks great.
