okay, just got a new computer, and i already downloaded itunes 7, and all that stuff, but everytime i plug in my ipod, it makes a dull sound, and says that it does not recognize it. i want it where i can plug in my ipod, and me being able to name it and stuff. im really gettin tired of the songs that r already on it, so ant tips? please help!

1. restore your iPod for a try, this will fix many problems,

I think it depends on what type of iPod you have.
Certain iPods can only be synched to one computer,
so if that's the case, you need to synch it to your new computer.
In doing so, you will reset your iPod which will erase all of the songs on it.

the front side usb may not be supporting usb 2.0 version which is high speed
so try connecting them via a port which is on the back
it should work

why spend money on an ipod when you can get it for free? just go to this site and complete a few quick tasks and they'll send you one!
