This is certainly a violent crime but not worthy of the death penalty, once these criminals are caught and given their day in court and if found guilty then the punishment should fit the crime. Its terrible that we as a society have to have the death penalty, but there are people the are murdering people and we need to have a deterrent for this crime and its the death penalty, it would be great if we could just stop all crime.

what happened was obviously criminal behavior, and those boys should be punished. But the death penalty, no I don't think so. I am sure she had the scooter insured and will get another one, and her bruises will heal, so the death penalty would be a long term solution to a short term problem. I think if the boys are caught, they should have to not only pay for the scooter, they should be required to work off their offense against the laws, no sitting in a nice clean jail, no no, put them on a road crew and make them work hard for several months.

Absolutely not! People shouldn't be so eager to judge who should live and die. I'm against the death penalty. Killing is wrong no matter who's doing it!

no the death penalty is a little too harsh i mean they didnt kill anyone they just stole somthing maybe jail for some months

Nope. They are animals, but don't deserve to die. Perhaps it's best they be sent to an adult prison where sick inmates can brutalize them they way they brutalized the senior.

I do think they should be punished harshly, bit in my opinion, not the death penaly.

They should give them life in prison maybe that would send a message to those type of criminals that commit senseless crime, but I doubt it would.
