Well, actually it can....smoking kills the appetite to a degree, but the trade off is not so hot...you would have to be 50 pounds overweight to make up the deficit in health.

YEAH the NEWEST diet pill, take up smoking!!! NO IT DOES NOT MAKE YOU SLIMMER!!! What is DOES do, is that when you are smoking you are not eating. Few people smoke and eat at the same time. Some do, but those are REALLY addicted to the nicotine and can't help themselves.

Well, smoking makes you dead after a few years, but I know quite a few fat smokers, including a woman over 300#. Once they get cancer, the weight will drop off, though.

Smoking is a stimulant, and it can increase your metabolism, so when you smoke, it can take the edge off of hunger. Also if feed the need to be putting something in your mouth like eating. that's why people gain weight when they quit smoking. They eat alot more. Also, they do it to feed that habbit of putting something in their mouth.

no it doesn't... it curbs your appetite which results in weight loss... but you age much faster
