I want to use my broadband service at my grandparents house. Basically i mean set up a modem there and connect using there bt phoneline

No, it isn't possible. You are paying for the line to be set up for ADSL, and their line isn't.

These answers are not true. I have had success Using my modems at mutiple houses.First service was PeoplePc DSL brought my modem to someones house and worked fine (all they need is a phone line that has a dial tone).Second service was Comcast High speed, worked fine.For DSL make sure whoever your ISP is. That they have service coverage in the zip code your taking the modem to.The same with Comcast, But with Comcast you will have to have at least basic cable service for it to work.

Your ADSL service (username and password) is tied to *your* telephone number. So no, it is not possible to log into it from a different telephone line.

No YOU CAN"T.
WHY CAN"T I ?
1.the phone line is diffrent and the subscribed phone no. on which u have subscribed is totally diffrent that wouldn't work out with that way
