No, I doubt it. The Lakers just don't have enough under the salary cap to pay him the money he deserves. They also don't have much trade power. But, you never know, some great deal could happen. I also wonder if Garnett would want to play for the Lakers. I know he wants to have a Championship badly and I think there are other teams in a better position than the Lakers.

No. He wants to help his young team. Garnett has at least 5 years in him left and by that time they all could have the time to gel. I believe he saw how much the T-wolves believed in him and now he's returning the favor.
