I live in the crowded city of mumbai ,the traffic noise drowns all the nature's sounds but in auckland where i also live in the summer there is lot of quietness and i love to listen to the sound of birds chirping ,my 5 year old grandson calling me in his sing song melodious voice to ask me his non stop questions begining the question with "Pappa "------and i just love to hear his voice in the open fields where we run and play in the summer .

There is a bird, singing in my garden this time of year. His little song sounds like "Let's Go Band", in my heart, it sounds like the "Potvin Chant" at Madison Square Garden...makes me grin, and count the days to hockey season.

I love to go to sleep at night to the sounds of crickets,its so relaxing,i open my windows and let them seranade me to sleep,that is until the local neighborhood skunks start spraying,it puts a dent in my nice quiet solitude.

I love te sound of the ocean, when it's raining. I live 5 minutes from the beach so I can hear the ocean whenever I want. (Yay for me)
