Draw a set of plans or have an architect do it, considering size of lot, right of way boundries and local building codes.
If you build it yourself, obtain permits from the city. This may be difficult to obtain without licensed trades. You don't need permits outside of most cities, but use skilled trades anyway.

From the plans you have to pour a slab with proper plumbing locations, then foundation plates along supporting walls, incoming water, sewer, and gas, if applicable, etc, etc, etc.
All plumbing, gas, and electrical must pass city inspection.

particular! yet whilst doing this be certain the land has making plans permission to construct a house. Defiantly purchase the land, land is so uncommon to get, and the fees of it is going to continuously upward thrust. particular, placed a cellular abode or trailer on it, or possibly a caravan.
